Allocation

Annual and fixed

Snow falls on Golija. Twenty years later it rises again — cold, mineral, counted. STUDENICA is drawn inside a protected biosphere reserve and bottled at the source, under a yearly allocation that never grows.

We do not sell everywhere. We serve tables that understand water.

Studenica Monastery — World Heritage

The name

A monastery, a river, a word for cold

The reserve takes its name from the Studenica Monastery, founded in the twelfth century and listed as a World Heritage site — and from the river that runs beneath its walls.

Since 2001, 53,000 hectares of primary forest and karst have been protected under UNESCO’s Man and the Biosphere Programme. Access is regulated. Industry is prohibited. The water is left to take its time.

From Old Slavic studen — “cold”.
